It's the little things that excite us, really...
It doesn't take much to get us excited. Sometimes, just winning a small battle against gravity does the trick. This photo is of the new stone 'curb' in the circle at the chapel. Clearly, the whole idea here is to corral the decomposed granite during rainstorms so that it doesn't end up all over the grass (or well-trimmed weeds!) Looks pretty cool, and we're anxious to see how well it helps...
Beautiful 3 mile walk earlier today, and just a mention that Laura and Dan Synder are still looking for "Buddy" the black lab, who has been gone a few days. Anyone seeing the Bud-ster should give us a shout at 254 718 0680....we'd sure like to hear that he's made it home safely. Lots of dirty dishes to clean up at the chapel today, since Joyce Dobias' Coq au vin was prepared last night for Ann's visit... Lots of wine consumed too! The only way to do estate planning...I think! Not too much else happening at the chapel today, but we're excited about starting to plan K&G's wedding tomorrow! Also, figured out what dessert we will feature for Thanksgiving day...so that's now all set!
He's here every minute of every day, and we're so thankful. His direction, blessings, gifts and love are absolutely everywhere! Dip into the stream of His love and get WET with it! Blessings to all for a tremendous friday, and hope it's a great one for you!
