What if each groomsman wore a different pair of vintage cuff links at the wedding that the bride and
Well, in our world, that would help to make the day even more perfect...but that's just us! Well, that's just us and a lot of our couples, since just about everyone who gets married here is pretty much into the vintage, non-cookie cutter vibe. Thank God! ...Loving this new set of 'jewlray' provided to me by Mary Jo Laney (MOB) from Minnesota. Check out the great, really old 1920's/1930's cuff studs, and neat tie bars AND the crazy excellent bowling pin and bowling balls!

After your Caliber Oak wedding, how about a crazy-affordable and beautimous honeymoon?
We are constantly amazed and thrilled with the value that Florida's Emerald Coast casts in its magic spell. Just got back from a wonderful visit, and the price could not have been better. Reasonable food available, tremendous value in lodging....you can save yourself from eating out every meal with a nifty condo, and the airfare/driving costs aren't overwhelming. We just love this area of the Sunshine State, and try to get there as often as possible. We'd like to try to g

Don't you just love it when local purveyors of magic promote each other?!:
Recently, I again had the distinct enjoyment of having a pedicure at the tremendous Kutula Salon in Belton. What a treat to see our chapel brochures so prominently displayed! You go, Kutula! Thank you so much. I then realized that both the chapel and Kutula are really in the magic business. We take regular, ordinary, wonderful people and make them glow with beauty. They do theirs with expert hair and nail care, and we do ours with a wonderful wedding experience, but it

Wow! Our very first "marketplace" blog posting!
So............there we were at Barrow Brewing (with all the cool kids) after yoga, and our good friend D. A., says........hey, I know of a wedding dress for sale that's brand new and an excellent price. We're like........send us a pic, and here it is. One bride is already considering it, but we thought we'd throw it out here. Apparently, this never-worn number is a size 10 that fits more like an 8, and can be had for excellent $$$. Let us know if you're interested, and w

Getting married here is usually just the BEGINNING of the story...
One of our absolute favorite parts of weddings here at the chapel is that they're really the opening act for many, many more happy memories to come. We have brides and grooms that visit weekly, annually, every so often, and the blessing of it all is that they VISIT! What other place would you get married and come back to all the time. Right? Praise Him! ====Anyway, the photograph on today's blog is of the magical bride from a few years ago, Jolene, being assisted by Otto!

Love this photo from a loving day!
We're not going to lie....it was easy for Tara Barnes to make Mary and Patrick look good on their 'bestest' of days.... and the boss always looks good, but Ol' Cap doesn't even look like the cryptkeeper here! Well done, Tara! Good on ya! .... We just love this photo because I really think it's an amazing representation of how we will NOT let a bride and groom down on their largest of events. We were a 4-some (with LOTS of parental help, PTL) that worked together from d

Finally getting Christina & Jacob's photo out here from their Celebration Tree Day!
Well, it took me over a month, but it's finally posted! We had such a great visit with one of our favorite couples and they put the newest sign of all on the Celebration Tree at the chapel! Don't forget, Caliber Oak Brides and Grooms, if you were married here, you get to put your sign on the tree as well. Contact El Capitain for details! It looks like C&J had a tremendous trip to Hawaii and we can't wait to hear all about it. Blessings to them both as they unpack and un
