Weddings and anniversaries always call for a little groom-bling!
Even the grooms who are the most casual and relaxed on their biggest of days sport something bling-gy. It might be a pocket watch chain, buttons on a vest, or even a little silver on a belt buckle or hat band, but it's a special day, and a little shine doesn't hurt. The items in this photo were carefully selected by Mrs. Boss for my 33rd wedding anniversary gift, and came from England. The thoughtful lass figured out that amethyst is the stone/gift for 33 years, and she di

Love the smiles in this picture! Such a happy day!
So, the last time I got to see them was during the Belton 4th of July parade in Patrick's excellent VW bug! They were smiling and waving to the crowd, and looked just as happy as they do here! Such a special couple who really understand each other. They're both smart enough to know that there are always bumps along the way, but in the end, there's always a sunset! Congratulations, Mary and Patrick and many years of happiness to you both! ==================================

Summer color and genuine beauty ---
When Precious Memories and Tara Barnes Photography get together...this is what happens. Tremendous color, softness and romantic tradition. Mary and Patrick's wedding was all of these things, and this photo really captures it beautifully. This bride is fresh as a flower, and so is this young couple together. The youth, promise and togetherness of their relationship is evident in these colors. Both of these kiddos have been raised right, too, which is a HUGE benefit when

Sometimes, simple elegance is the most beautiful.
Tara Barnes took this delightful photo of one of our "Belinda's Dream" roses at the chapel on the day of Mary and Patrick's magical wedding. Wanted to share this picture with you in hopes that it would brighten your day! ==============================================We've been talking

A honeymoon destination that's worth every mile!

We feel that it has kind of a Southern California Spanish influence feel, but whatever the experience you get, it's special and unique. This photograph is taken from Suite #212, which is lovely and obviously overlooks the plaza courtyard. Other rooms are just as nice, and we think either #22

Historic Hotel Honeymoon? That'd be rather fun!
Antique hotel gems are all around us, and if you're like Denise and I, you just love to explore old hotels that are still operational. It's fun to try to imagine what went on there, the people, the meetings, the parties. Neat stuff. We were in for a treat this weekend for our 33rd wedding anniversary, as we got to visit 2 excellent, operational vintage hotels in West Texas. We were blessed to be able to stay at the Hotel Paisano in Marfa, which was a dream complete, since
