When you're a Caliber Oak baby, you just sparkle differently from all others! You're clearly bright and colorful and ready to party! Seth and Ellena know how to make cute kids! Mega-cute!
Some kids just can't wear bling, but when you're a Caliber Oak baby who's mom and dad tied the knot at the chapel, you just have a flair for wearing faceted bling. It just comes naturally! We were so thrilled the whole Adams clan could join us for Easter 26! We haven't started taking down the easter paraphernalia at the chapel yet, but that's on the agenda for today. It'll come back in shape for the weddings that are coming up. Cannot wait! Bought another knockout rose

Is this not beautiful!??! Connie Cryar provided this china for the chapel, and is already being used for events! It means so much when families trust us with their heirlooms for donation. Thanks!
From one of our favorite manufacturers, Noritake, this pattern - Shelia - was only produced in Japan for 4 years. Introuced in 1948, the production of this pattern stopped in 1952. We have a special affinity for Noritake patters of this era, and have given gifts of such sets and now are on the receiving side. Such a gorgeous set, and Connie seemed very happy to help contribute to the signature vintage china look at the chapel. Thank you, Connie! This china is what sets

Love the addition of the new Bavarian china for our events! Thank you for the donation, Terry, and many thanks to Connie & Keith for set #2! There more china going on than in the mainland!
It's always such a thrill when folks gift the chapel with family heirlooms of the porcelain kind! This pattern is very pleasant, and the whole set has kind of a Southwestern pottery feel. It could be from as early as 1937 or as late as about 1955, but it's impossible to tell, since the pattern name isn't indicated. The lovely win/win about these china sets is that so many are from families that have tremendous chapel memories, and then their family's antique china is used

We love reading feedback like this, and are very thankful to have quite a bit of happy and satisfied past clients, families and friends. Heather and Josh's wedding was no exception, and all was well!
Thank Gracious for all the very happy feedback producers that we get to be put in touch with, and know that we've done a beautiful job in creating our Joy! Heather and Josh's wedding was just excellent, and the families had a good time, the staff was on point (thank you, Sarah & John!) and food and beverage went beautifully! Many thanks for all the vendors who made this day special as well to include Let Them Eat Cake and Johnny's BBQ! We're already excited about our next w

Another beautiful cake from our very favorite baker-vendor in Belton! Not only did this cinnamon roll cake taste amazing, it was absolutely beautiful and the flowers looked great! Congrats, H&J!
Another smash-hit, out of the park baking experience at the chapel happened last weekend. We were honored to have Josh and Heather's magical wedding here at the chapel. They're a very special couple, and it was an absolute joy to make their dream come true. Heather looked amazing and everyone had so much fun! Since the wedding, we've had our annual Fat Tuesday celebration and screened "Chocolat" with lots of decadent food and beverages! We had 19 or 20 souls in the house,

When brides and grooms invite you over to their house for a Christmas party...you can't go empty handed. How about this outstanding Christmas cranberry orange bread nestled in berries !
Festive AND delicious. It was a great excuse to use this crazy expensive pan I got from Williams-Sonoma or King Arthur that rarely gets hot. The event at John and Jolene's was wonderful and everything tasted great....esp the potato chips, which I dont eat at home! All is wonderful at the chapel. The large, red ornaments on near the front porch will get about 2 more days of display before the holiday is over, and things look pretty green and bright for this time of year,

This is the fun part of having special brides and grooms in your life! We get to see them grow up, change and succeed! Getting to go to "The Nutcracker" certainly is succeeding in our book! Fun!
John took Ciaran to The Nutcracker not too long ago, and I'm sure it was amazing. What a cool kid that she wanted to go to the ballet, and what a cool dad-guy for taking her. The boots look polished, she looks great and he looks armed, so I guess they're ready to go! It's so fun having our couples share their milestones - large or small! Busy day at the chapel today, preparing for the Knights of Columbus Christmas party. We're completely on track, but that'll involve 2

What a fun photo from our bible study group! Obviously a happy group, and what other bible study would have a rifle involved?!?!? We were so glad that Tim and Tammy could join us. Is Bert Santa?
I've never thought about how much Bert and Santa look alike. I mean....think about it....you've never seen them both in the same room at the same time, right? lol! It was a great bible study, and we haven't posted a photo in quite a while. Even the new rescue dog, Dobby, got into the mix. She's not even trying to steal food in this shot! All is wonderful at the chapel. Tim and Clemente have replaced all the trim boards on the eaves since we had some shrinkage, aging and

This is what happens when you let Cap loose with a round sponge brush and some craft paints. It's currently the top of the curio cabinet in the bride's room. Kinda cool, we think? Def craft vibe!
Actually, it's not too bad and if you look at it in the right angle, it kind of has a Van Gough vibe to it! It's more exciting than a plain paint job, and what the heck....it was fun! Hope y'all like it! Quiet at the chapel today, but Miss Denise is going to tidy up some areas. We've got a visit scheduled with Lindsey tomorrow, and we're looking forward to that. The sun is shining and the place looks good. Our next videotaping for Coffee with Cap is coming up, and we're

Rollin' around town lookin' fly! Our magnetic signs are back on the side of the truck, and they look pretty good. We'll leave them there until carwash time, and then switch them out! Great colors!
We don't know if people even notice them, but we feel so official and cool with them on the doors. They look good on all of our cars, and are so easy to move. Jason Smith, our friend and lawdawg from Pflugerville said that we shouldn't leave them on permanently, since they mess up the paint and lose their magnetic properties. They were on the side of the frigidaire and we decided to put them to use for a while. At least you'll know who it is if we roll past you. No acti
