Figured I'd better post this intimate chapel supper shot before the season completely passes us by..
This was a festive little evening with the Grays, and we really enjoyed the matching table cloth, napkins, AND apron for the supper. Sheri gave us all this beautiful April Cornell holiday linen, and it's a treat to use it. We don't usually entertain all that much in December, amazingly, but it's nice to have some Christmassy stuff to use! Major progress was made in regaining a sense of order at the white chapel yesterday, as Chloe helped put the finishing touches and teamwo

Doesn't THAT look delicious and somewhat nutritious?!?!? SSWS know how to have a chapel party!
So, I totally know that nobody starved at this particular party! Between the excellent food from Johnny's and the tremendous deserts on this buffet, all were properly fed! I was thinking this morning about how many calories have been consumed from this buffet in the lifetimes of it's use, and would calculate that it would be in the millions. So much joy, happiness and sugar! :) Major progress was made at the chapel today, as we finally boxed up all the custom linens, fabr

Well, in the interest of fair and balanced reporting, both kiddos get some face time on the blog! :)
Out of fairness to fine "O", here, we had to post a picture, since sistergirl "H" got major face time yesterday. Those two were so very well behaved the day of the wedding and seemed to really enjoy the excitement all around them. A wedding day can be a challenge for kiddos, since the routine is disrupted, so much excitement, and so many people. Not for these two kiddos....they were pros! Thinking I've got a visit this morning at 9:30, but not completely sure, since my ema

Just so you know, Caliber Oak babies are the cutest babies in the world! Ask ANY of our brides! :)
Are these two not just precious?!?!? The part I love is how gorgeous they both look in the place where mommy said "I Do", on the day that Aunt Sarah said "I Do", which is the whole family connection that we love about our sacred little space. One of the best flowergirl performances of all time, she did her job well with impromptu floral flair, and was just a joy to behold. What a sweetie, and we love her mom and dad, too! All is rock and rolling at the chapel at present.

Custom, wearable bling is a nice look for a ring-a-ding-ding bride with a tremendous personality!
Jarrah knows how to make an entrance and a statement, and certainly pulled that off with her custom wedding prep kimono jacket. She said the only bad part of it is that when you order from some companies, they send you a pre-teen size of everything! :) Oh well, it still looked great! It's so fun working with so many different brides and their unique personalities to make the biggest day of their life magical. From contemporary flash to vintage cabbage rose floral, we get t

Some brides know how to truly kick it old school! I don't know how Jarrah walked in these but wow!
I am thinking I've never seen a taller heel on a pair in my life, but I could be wrong, and I've even sold shoes before! :) These were primarily for her very special magazine photo shoot the day of the wedding, but she still managed to wear them and not fall down, which I think would be a major accomplishment. Lot's of style with this girl, and she matches her groom just right! Merry Christmas Eve from all of us at the Chapel at Caliber Oak, and we hope everyone's home i

And that's how the chapel rolls this time of year! Thanks to Cindy Cashion for the excellent card!
It IS beginning to look a lot like all the flavors, smells and bells for this Christmas season at the chapel. Last night's supper with Ronny and Ann was wonderful and sealed the deal on a delightful Christmas celebration. We're gearing up for the real celebration in just 2 days, but in the meantime, everything is under control. Emma's assistance this holiday month has been very valued, as she's kept things clean, set things up, taken them down, etc. We still need to figure

A blurry shot, but worth the look. Mike and Jarrah's wedding had such a perfect, unique palette!
We loved the richness and depth of the color contrasts for this excellent wedding, and the guests did too. It was the perfect foil for Jarrah and Mike's unique style and was executed beautifully. Sometimes the darker background tones really make the lighter colors jump up and say 'howdy'. This was certainly one of those times! Wedding homecoming gets closer each day, and we can't wait! It looks like we've got a pretty good turnout, already. Emma is down at the chapel gett

Just because you're not a real parent doesn't mean that you can't be parental. Take a look at this!
I almost laugh when I look at this photo, since this is so much the relationship with Molly and me. I look like the stern, semi-wise parent here, and she looks like she broke curfew the night before. lol! I realized now, several years later, that my 'parental side' has actually helped many, many brides have a perfect wedding day and feel valued and honored. I think that's what parent's should do, although I've only played on on stage and screen! :) Still love the "Cap an

This photo could possibly be from one of the happiest days of my life 8 years ago. The magic Molly!
While it looks like there's a lot of fingerpointing going on in this picture (lol), it's very rare for me to get to work with a bride I adore this much. All of my brides are special, and they hold a special place in my heart. Something about this one, though. Extra caring, extra sweet, and just adore her through and through to this day! She's married one of our finest grooms ever, and produced a magical family that will endure. So very proud, and so very thankful for th
