We absolutely love the concept of white on white. It seems especially appropriate for a wedding day, but virtually anytime is the right time for ivory tones. Darker, lighter, multiple shapes! Neat!

Especially beautiful in a silk format hydrangea, a bride can really save a fortune on her flowers with creamy white. The photo above is completely silk, and is as fresh-looking if not MORE fresh looking than the real thing! The other frustration with hydrangeas, while we are talking about them, is that the real stems can be tremendously fragile to work with and the most minor temperature change or age of the stem can bring about disaster. We've had at least one wedding at the chapel where the hydrangeas that looked great in floral buckets the night before the wedding looked horrific and were completely unusable for the big day! And they're not cheap! The other great thing about creamy white silk hydrangeas is that they can be used again and again after the wedding for floral arrangements, wreaths, memory boards and about 83,000 other projects! Rock on, creamy silkies. Anything creamy adds class and distinction to a wedding theme, and lends itself beautifully to the vintage feel of our very special chapel! Winner, winner, ivory dinner! :)
We hope everyone is having a wonderful wrap-up to the work week! Chapel folk are special folk, and we get to spend some time with a few of them this weekend! Blessings to one and all!
