Now THAT is a pile of scones! I can't remember what flavor these are, but I think they may be date-cinnamon. Cap's been cooking up the scones for days for the annual tea coming up for Miss D!
They really are good with tea or coffee and pretty traditional. Not overly sweet, for the most part, they taste great with a cuppa and make hot beverages truly a relaxing treat and ceremony. Long live the English scone, even though we put our own, American twist on the comestibles. All is in order for the tea party.
