This stained glass window welcomes everyone to the chapel kitchen! It was one of the first things we bought when we were building the place, and the colors and pattern are just right for our look!
I'm pretty sure it was mail order, and may have been from Ireland. We can't really remember, but we love the way that it provides light and color in one of our favorite kitchens in all the world! It's a very happy window and just right in that space. It provides just enough privacy and view so that the landscaping behind it looks great! Another blessing!
The chapel is all cleaned spic and span from Elena being there this morning. We had a lovely bible study last evening with a group of 8, and the wedding for over 100 folks on Saturday was lovely and turned out just right. We're always so blessed with perfect wedding day execution, and it's so neat to have brides and grooms and parents and families be so very appreciative of all of our efforts. Our next gig is actually Thanksgiving Day for the family with 8 of us gathering, and then we set up for the Knights of Columbus annual Christmas party a few days after that. Those activities should pretty much wrap up our 2024 season at the Chapel!
Thankfully, we've gotten some well needed rain during the last 24 hours. That should help with some of the brown-ness on the ground! Here's to hoping everyone is having a great day and a wonderful start to their week! God bless us every one!
