Now this cake says, "Let's have fun!". Really unique and very pretty cake that tasted very good and unusual for a wedding! Strawberries and cake throughout, with complexity. New flavor was great!

Lovin' on the retro-simplicity of the cake design and the dedication to the humble strawberry. This cake went along with strawberry filled cuppycakes at Kirk & Emlee's wedding. Just right for the two of them and the unique and neat feel and theme they created. We don't think their wedding would have been just as perfect anywhere else, since their spirit and montage of colors and textures were just right for the rustic elegance of Caliber Oak! Congratulations, again, to our Emlee & Pvt. Walt! :)
Today is bible study day at the chapel, and we should have a decent crowd. The food is always good, so that won't be a problem. The Rabbi asked me to read from Romans, so I'm already honored to be a part of the event. I also know an amazing dessert is coming from the Welge Kitchen that I saw on the net and know I'll love. Woohoooo!
Things are still looking pretty green at the chapel, although the rain we had hoped for yesterday never materialized. Hopefully, we'll get some this week. We're spoiled, since it's so fun to have it when you can get it!
