There's more than one way to get lucky at THIS chapel! March 6 is a great opportunity for charity!
Well, if you haven't heard about it by now, you're just not paying attention and probably won't do well on your standardized testing (lol!). March 6th is the fun and exciting 'games night' for Slice of Heaven Educational Farm, and we're totally excited. We so appreciate all of our brides and grooms who have their weddings here, since it allows us to keep the lights on and provides the revenue to sponsor such great events. As many of you know, the chapel has never really made an 'income', but the proceeds from weddings end up going on and on through efforts for others. This event will be wonderful. Just a reminder, however, it's RSVP, Miss Denise....254 760 1590. 3/6/22 @ 6p. $15 minimum donation.....
Too COLD outside for the two of us to be playing in the dirt at the chapel! Can't wait to get dirt, plant seeds, plant landscaping, etc., but we're warm weather kids. This winter really hasn't been too bad at all, but we get so spoiled with warmer temperatures that anything less than 70 degrees feels cold to us! :) We'll survive!
Looking forward to bible study at the chapel tomorrow with "The Chosen" series.... It's been fun. Also, Miss Denise ordered this really cool vinyl.kinda quotation thing from Mother Theresa that I think we want to put on an antique window and hang somewhere...... I just have to figure out how the whole thing works, find the window in the car barn, clean it up, polyurethane the frame and get it in the right spot. Hmmmmmmmm...sounds like work, and it's COLD outside. Definitely a project for the near future, however!
