Chapel Blog | Our weddings, events and news

Oh Happy Day! Yesterday's wedding was picture-book with fun, frivolity, frosting and froth! Wow!

Deborah and Carl's wedding was everything we all hoped it would be! Everything went smooth as silk, and a great time was had by all. Deborah looked amazing in her cowgirl luxe lace dress with white boots, and Carl was rockin' the bolo to match. Deborah's hair had so many beautiful jeweled pins that she absolute shimmered when she stepped into the bright afternoon light to get married under the oaks. The decorations were amazing, with picket fence sections draped with greenery and sunflowers, and the arch was encrusted with floral as well. An amazing 'flower dude' performance made the ceremony special, and Carl's sister Gina was his best man, which was a really cool and unique touch. Lots of happy tears during speeches, and MJ even let a whole box of live butterflies loose at the start of the ceremony to set the tone. They had a wildly handsome officiant (ahem) marry the two of them in a double-ring ceremony. Another wedding day of the rings being inside the chapel while the bride and groom were at the altar, but it always works out with dumping of purses, and fleet feet to get the jewelry there on time! Vance provided the dance music that just didn't stop all night long, since he really knows how to do it. This wedding was the first to showcase EmmyLou for photo ops, and that made it really special. The staff was amazing as always, and kept the food, beverage and cleanup coming!

Congratulations to these two and our genuine wishes for many years of happiness and smiles! They're off to gamble in Oklahoma, so hopefully, they'll still remember us when they're big jackpot winners in just a few hours! Blessings to all for a tremendous, sunny Sunday, and we hope you have an excellent week!
