Chapel Blog | Our weddings, events and news

We're going to call this one, "Todd's last moments as a single guy"! This was our target approach for his wedding to Kacey, and he looks ready for the challenge. The Ol' Cap doesn't even look bad!!!

The weather ended up turning out just perfectly, so the outdoor ceremony was just right! Todd and Kacey had a great event, and we're so thankful that they chose us to help host their special celebration. Congratulations! I've got a couple of other shots to share from this big day that Kacey sent to me, so we'll get those out there as well.

Amazingly, even more rain fell on the chapel yesterday, and we couldn't be happier. Not having to water flowers and plants for multiple days during the first half of July is a pretty rare situation. Roses, lantana, crepe myrtles, etc., are all flourishing on the chapel grounds. Miss Denise and I are amazed at how large the Texas sage plants have grown at the 'curved wall' along the driveway, and we'll be ready to find and plant a new tree in that garden before the end of the year.

The flowering lotus seeds that I bought Miss Denise for our 39th anniversary sprouted beautifully, and some are in the chapel fountain and thriving. Love watching everything grow without having to struggle for moisture.

We hope everyone is halfway through another blessed week, and that things are working out for you. God bless, and talk at you soon!
