These flowers are absolutely gorgeous. What a treat to have this beautiful arrangement in the house. I had a lovely brunch with Raeshel and Rachel Thomas on Friday. Raeshel brought me this arrangement. It is sitting in the entry way at the house and I just smile every time I walk by it. Just so pretty. I may just have to subscribe to her weekly flowers in the fall and then next spring. We also did some plant swap. I have so many coleus so fortunately she was willing to take some and she gave me a nice variety of plants. I made sure yesterday to get them either in the ground or in pots right away. So nice having such a nice selection of different plants. Some of mine still look great despite the August temps and some have had better days, but hanging on. I'm not sure if I'll get many more zinnias. When I went to Sarah and Otto's last night to watch Seven Year Itch, I gave them a small arrangement of the good ones left in the garden. I already have a bowl full of the seeds that will be saved for next year. I thought I was going to have a visit from a mom and bride from Dallas yesterday that I put on the calendar a few weeks ago, but when I followed up I received no response. Was not meant to be. But I had a lovely visit with the November bride and the groom's mom today. The mom was in from out of town so first time to see the place in person. She absolutely loved it and she is so excited for the photographer to see it. She took a bunch of pictures. The photographer is a family friend that has been taking pictures for years and she said she is just going to be thrilled to take photos at the Chapel. Can't wait to meet her. I have a little break before next wedding, but if you don't have it on the calendar make sure to mark Sunday, September 20th from 4 to 7 for LCR. The proceeds will be going to Healing Heart Rescue. If you are interested and come please let me know. I am hoping we can fill the room. LCR nights are always so much fun. So excited about it and thrilled to be able to help Joy and team at Healing Heart. Let's raise some money for them! Been busy doing miscellaneous things today, but not much else to say so til next time...make memories
