Fun evening with 2 Caliber Oak couples

Love the Chapel at Caliber Oak family. So, last night Amy and Rory had Sarah, Otto and I over for dinner at their house. We had a very delicious chicken meal that was just the right spicy and boston cream pie for dessert. I can't remember the last time I had that pie. It sure was good and Amy said it came from HEB. So many of their desserts taste like they are homemade. It was a great visit. We had some wonerful conversations and we reminisced. I look forward to doing more of these type gatherings. I actually have more already on the calendar. And for the first time I have to put the commitments on the calendar. I used to just keep it all in my headmy head and Rick would say I have no idea how you don't have to write it down. Well, now that I may visit someone at different times of the day and with scheduling things out until September I have to now. I sure don't want to miss any of these fun events. I am not complaining (Miss summer gal), but it really is summer out there with the 100 degree temps. Hard to believe it is almost August. The Chapel will be on the quiet side this weekend with just 2 visits - no weddings, but Aug 1st I have another event. I look forward to booking more events. Soon more charity events will be scheuled as well. Not too much else going on so til next time...make memories
