This spring and early summer have been tremendous for all the chapel plants and flowers! We're sure the heat lamp is coming, but we've had a nice amount of rain and less than 100 degree days! Nice!

Miss Denise got several of these neat planter groupings from the nice folks at the Village Farmer's Market @ Barrow. They're dotting the area around us, and still look pretty good. We're sure that some will end up lasting longer than others, but it's always to start the spring/summer season with some fun color. She does such a great job of staying motivated to gardening!
Special guest is heading to the chapel tomorrow or the next day, and that should be fun. We're having supper with a bride and groom tonight, and have a special "Card 'n Pasta" that involves bridal activity tomorrow night! So thankful our special couples stick around for even more fun, years later!
Thankfully, Tim wasn't hurt when the limb he was trimming by the gate fell and just about took him with it! He didn't answer for a couple of shouts from me, and I started heading into the brush to see if he was still with us! He was shaken up, but thankfully, not hurt. The limb doesn't look perfect, but isn't worth the extra trimming. Our brides and grooms are used to rustic, and it adds to the look!
Ok, we'll see what's on the agenda today, and I'm pretty sure mike is bringing our new fire extinguisher to the chapel for our insurance verification. Hope everyone stays cool! Blessings to one and all!
