This is the fun part of having special brides and grooms in your life! We get to see them grow up, change and succeed! Getting to go to "The Nutcracker" certainly is succeeding in our book! Fun!

John took Ciaran to The Nutcracker not too long ago, and I'm sure it was amazing. What a cool kid that she wanted to go to the ballet, and what a cool dad-guy for taking her. The boots look polished, she looks great and he looks armed, so I guess they're ready to go! It's so fun having our couples share their milestones - large or small!

Busy day at the chapel today, preparing for the Knights of Columbus Christmas party. We're completely on track, but that'll involve 2 sessions today and one tomorrow. No matter, we love giving our time and talents to a great group, and were so thrilled to have April join us to help out for the event. That makes all the difference in the world!

The decor has been reshuffled a bit, with Jolene's Christmas balls in the planters out front, some funky lighting involving peppermints near the front gate, and a change-out of the faux flowers by the entry door to look more Christmassy. The tree is even up and a completely mid-century modern motif with just metallic balls on for decor. We'll be ready for KoC as well as the Motley Book Club annual Christmas party! Woooohooo! Christmas Day dinner will be played off-stage however at the cottage parlor. Looking forward to all of it, and apparently it's not going to freeze?!?!?
