One of the neatest thing about wedding receptions at the chapel is our collection of amazing vintage china...from cake on the antique buffet to canapes at the main buffet to a beautiful seated dinner!

It's so much our signature look for wedding parties, and each plate has a story to tell. Every time we set up for a wedding using the vintage collection, it's like seeing a friend again that you've missed. From classy stoneware to highly coveted antique French bone china, the pieces reflect a lifetime of collecting. First for ourselves, and then for sharing at weddings. This weekend's wedding is using two different sizes of the vintage collection to make a statement for our bride. Some of the pieces are hand-painted one.of.a.kind china, and others are amazing items from historic and famous patterns. Still others of the grouping are pieces that have been given to us from friends who had no use for their treasures, and now they celebrate on a table top on a very regular basis. So many memories out in the open air, making even more memories by the week! Rather than languishing in a cardboard box in a closet, garage, or attic, these mis-matched pieces are creating a whole new generation of excitement and celebration at our beloved chapel. We love the repurposing element of the whole thing as well! Cool!

Planting and mulching happened today due to Clemente's efforts, and things look just right for this weekend's excitement. We can't wait!

Blessings to everyone reading our regular blog posts, and we hope you'll come visit soon! Later!
