Just now getting around to posting this photo of the official chalkboard for the 6th anniversary of the Motley Book Club. We stand together, and attempt to read, talk, and visit in a great way! Yay!

Such a good group, and we've read so many books we would never have considered because of our democratic selection method. It's always an honor to be the host location for the annual anniversary party. Let Them Eat Cake did a wonderful job with the official anniversary cake, and everyone really worked hard to present their absolute culinary best! Fun evening!

We're enjoying the verdant green-ness of the chapel grounds. Everything is moist and green and buds are blooming left and right! Super lovely, and sometimes by the end of June things are already drying out. Miss Denise said there might be rain on the way in the next few days, so maybe things will remain green for quite a while!

Otherwise, not a lot going on at the chapel this week. Some weeks are very busy and some weeks are easier. We love both kinds of activity, and sometimes when we're not busy, we can head to the lake for some relaxation. Just came back from two days at Casa Steglich, which is like staying at the Ritz-Carlton Pasadena! Wow. Mildly spoiled.
