It's happening again, and based on how much fun we had last time, I hope we can handle the laughter!
We had such a riot of a time the last time we did this fundraiser for Slice of Heaven, that we're so thrilled to be able to do it again. Giving back to worthwhile organizations is also one of the blessings of the chapel, and $,$$$,$$$ has been raised here over the years. All fundraisers are great, but this particular one is a really good time! Be sure to RSVP to Staci so that we have enough dice, food, bev for everone. Dr. Stegliachi will be our official, real, live banker to make change, and a great time will be had by all. Note the time change to 4p... We started at 6p last time, and that's kind of tough for some folks who'd like to play more, but have work and other things going on Monday morning.
Otherwise, life at the chapel is quiet and peaceful. Tim's cutting down dead tree limbs to make things even more pretty for our couples, and Mrs. Boss is attempting to keep everything alive that needs to be watered. It's a real struggle at this time of the year, and if you've got a few moments, please say a few prayers for rain on our tin roof to take the edge off for the plants. Thanks!
Looking forward to having Becca come out and check the chapel out for their wedding. We're so excited for her, and the ring is amaZING. Hopefully, she'll love the chapel as much as we do, and the great thing is that she'd be practically walking distance from home! :)
