Every photo of Mrs. Boss always turns out great, but Cap....not so much. Chloe's shot here is the exception, since we really like both of us in this picture. Cutting the cake at wedding homecoming!

It's so cool to have our traditional wedding homecoming cake that has a bride and groom on it in the same number as the folks at the party! Andrea at Let Them Eat Cake did the confection this year, and it was tremendous as always. I think it was the cinnamon roll cake with cream cheese frosting. I should know, since I ate about 8 pieces over the next week! :) Such a fun evening and great attendance. Already looking forward to next year!
Quiet chapel today. I spent the night there on Sunday night after bible study so that Elena could clean more easily @ the house. It's restful without 3 rescue dogs sleeping with you, for sure! :) Loving the new comforter on the groom's room bed. I think not only is it a great addition in looks, it seems just a bit warmer as a sleeping coverlet during the nice. Restful!
Looking forward to meeting our newest potential wedding family on Saturday, and the mom, Carolyn, is coming all the way from Edmond, Oklahoma to tour the facility! I told her that Bruce lives there as well, and I think she even knew of his street in Edmond! Small world, right? Always fun to meet new people.
Ok, well, other chores are calling, so I'm going to close. Blessings and happiness to all our chapel fans, and we hope to see you soon!
