Alexa and Miguel

Here is our newest couple to The Chapel at Caliber Oak - Alexa and Miguel. They had an amazing wedding and reception this past Saturday. Congratulations! The weather turned out just right. About 2 hours before the ceremony it did rain and fortunately I put the blue cadillac under cover. Ciaran made it shine earlier that day. The family added a fun twist to the evening and had Tom's Traveling Coffee truck show up for a little while. That definitely was a treat. Mark, the DJ from Toast Entertainment did a tremendous job with keeping the dance floor alive. We had to clear enough tables for lots of dancing. They were having SO much fun. The florals were beautiful and they added lanterns with florals which was a very unique idea. All the guest were wonderful, but I had my favorite Grandma Cathy. We spent about 30 seconds together and we instantly bonded. We bonded so much that we are going to penpals between Michigan and Texas. I already put a sweet card in the mail to her already. Yesterday the team came and picked up their decorations and we had an outstanding Bible Study last night. My friend Jean joined us and it looks like next week there maybe 1 or 2 other new couples joining us. Love it. Bringing people together is what Rick always did and I plan to continue that. I also am going to make sure get togethers happen - getting things on the calendar even if a little ways out. We all need to make memories and enjoy life! I have another wedding this coming Saturday and once again here is it just Monday and I'm all set up. There were similarities to last weekends wedding, but a smaller wedding and Ciaran came out to help me for 1.5 hours. Thank you Ciaran! That's about all for now. Til next time.
