Celebration Garden in Bloom!

  
It still doesn't look quite as 'luxe' as I'd like, but with a little soil and mulch enhancement and getting rid of some of the oak 'trailers' we should be looking great.  At least virtually every couple is in bloom...as they ALWAYS are at Caliber Oak!  
Got news that one of our favorite couples is stopping by as part of their second anniversary celebration, and we can't wait to see them!  We love the part of this place that makes our brides and grooms feel connected and want to come back again and again. It's one of the biggest blessings of the chapel to us.   
Setup is complete for the MCT Jazz Brunch, and we know it'll be a tremendous success!    Right down to the miniature salt and peppers on the table.....(thanks for the reminder, Monica!   Sheri would be so proud!) 
Even got to see a very special bride at Salado Fitness today after our excercise class! Stalker!  heheheh.  We are so looking forward to Hope and Scott's big day.   
We get to see Kathie tomorrow, AND John is making a very special prom transportation event happen for Christian and company!    
Blessed rains have been falling and it will help keep things green a little longer this summer.   Probably need to mow the bridal courtyard before Sunday, but as always, .....heheheh   we'll see what happens!

Ok...this was for a baby shower, but we're thinking it's kind of a cool departing prize for a wedding as well. Diggin' the citrus theme of this event to this day, and what an unusual idea for a gift!

Wedding homecoming is one of our favorite nights of the year. Brides and grooms get to meet, greet and have fun together. Such a blessing to bring so many special folks into the same room! Neat!

Absolutely love this photo of an angel who's no longer with us. Susan made every visit special with her sparkling smile and kindness. We miss her, and know she's enjoying a heavenly tea party now!

Bright and beautiful! The Bride's Courtyard is one of our favorite places at the chapel. How many thousands of photographs of these fun, funky, retro beauties have been taken at weddings? Magic!

Well, if you're doing charity at the chapel, you've got to look halfway decent, right??!? Lots of work to make this happen right here, but we're excited about the Murder on the Orient Express event!

This is my annual lecture/wonderment about zinnias. They are our absolute favorite flower, and so few weddings include the sturdy little characters. Taylor and Daniel got the memo, however! Love!

A tremendous event starts with a magical invitation. Who would have thought of using a 'citrus' theme with color neutrality for a non-gender reveal baby shower?! Brilliant, and it set the tone!

Happiness Factor is over.the.top with the wonderful union of Annabelle and John on Saturday! Everything was perfect, and when does a couple get an 86 degree wedding on July 27?!?!? That was great!

Creativity and fun were the hallmarks of chapel activities this last weekend! Laura threw a great baby shower for Karley, and the whole "Little Cutie" theme was tremendous from the invitation on!

Every bride at the Chapel at CaliberOak is beautiful! Even those that need extra help in the beauty department, such as Miss ShelbyMae, here. The crown is all of it! Every bride is a princess here!
