Behind the scenes fun!
Still sifting through our happy visual memories from kitefest, I came across this gem this morning. Denise, our own Dr. Richard and Cindy Cashion and Paula Miller are all preparing, planning and praying about the next day's festival. I believe that either right after this meeting or during, the skies opened up and it poured rain! Praise God that it wasn't that way at all on the next day for the fest. Blue skies and PLENTY of wind! Thank you, Dick, Cindy and Paula for alw

Beautiful things are happening in the month of May!
What a beautiful look with the help of Ross Howard Designs, Kelly Sanders and the incomparable Cindy Cashion. Looking forward to the event that's featuring this combination. Should be amazing. So many wonderful things to look forward to, that sometimes it hard to keep up with counting our blessings, but we try! Meeting with M&J today to finalize their wedding vows (fun!) and also having a special chicken dinner tonight! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Wooohoo! A little

Another couple's sign on the celebration tree!!!
What a treat it was to have Heather and Robert out here yesterday to put up their sign! Great design, and a special couple. Also, apparently, you cannot come and put up your sign unless your shirt has some kind of writing on it? Who knew? Such a great couple and such a wonderful wedding. Robert and I got to talk guns and play with a few, and it was a truly fun visit. Sadly, the wedding apparently cost so much that Robert doesn't have any shoes anymore? :) Had a wond

Now, THAT is a happy bride! Wooohoo!
Heather sent me this photo by text and said it was one of her favorites from their wedding day so far. I couldn't agree more! It's a perfect capture of the excitement and fun that was had that day. Mrs. Broxton looks pretty pleased and so does the Mr. here. Many warm wishes to both of them, and we're excited to get to see them soon! Preparation day at the chapel. T&C's wonderful wedding is just around the corner and I've got some chair covers and champagne flutes to fo

Kite Fest Painting by Cindy Cashion!
Well, Cindy won't take complete credit for it, since it's based on an original design by Jordan Overturf....but it's great. Haven't quite gotten it on the wall yet, but so far it's in the 'crazy' hallway on the way to the 'crazy' bathroom! Thanks for your talent and hard work on this event, Cindy, and for always making the events so very special. We're looking forward to working with you to create magic for Laura Snyder's upcoming St. Stephen event wonderful, too! Had a

Creativity takes flight! Kite Fest a Smashing Success!
What a joy it was on Sunday to spend it with approximately 125 others in the pursuit of wind....which wasn't very hard to do that day! Many, many thanks to the St. Joseph team for making this happen at our very special place, and also thanks to so many folks who came out to enjoy the fun. We can't even begin to list all the folks that made this happen, but it was grand. This photo is the greatroom mantle covered by a little golden book village that Denise design placement
