The table switch-out is complete, and the custom painted cabinet is looking pretty fly in the bride's room! This was at the main house and we switched it out for the radio table, and it works great!
Lots going on around the chapel this week, including the install of the cabinet in the bride's room! We got to meet up with Casey and Nathan who are planning their wedding and came for a visit, and did some fun videotaping on the night before to include a teaser that's already dropped and another mini shot for the "Coffee with Cap" series. Not only all of that, Cap is heading down to the chapel pretty soon after finishing this blog entry to set up the coffee urn for the big

Nothing like giant mushrooms to say, "let's have a good time"! It was all a part of the Alice and Wonderland theme, and it added to the excitement, and the colors were really neat! Psychedelic, yo!
A couple of these fungi are still up and out on the drive up to the chapel from the road. All of the mylar balloons were tremendously...

Another fun element of the Alice in Wonderland event.... Water bottles with special labels that tie into the theme! Super fun, and the attention to detail makes the fun even more vivid! Yo, Alice!
We really loved having the group together for a great cause. $3,700 was worth the effort for a fun time to benefit the library. Thanks...

You know it's a good charity event when the guests dress up for the fun! Alice in Wonderland is CLEARLY a place this audience group has visited before! Loved the enthusiasm and the $3,700 raised!
The chapel got used for another great charity event for the Friends of the Salado Public Library and raised $3,700 for the cause. The...

This is what happens when you marry a ham sandwich. Miss Denise knows the feeling, but there are worse things that could happen to a bride! :) We love this photo of Jolene and John's photo shoot!
What a fun idea as part of the photo shoot they set up for fun. All of the photographs from the sesh look amazing, and it's so nice not...

This photo is from the chapel from a little while back....Easter Sunday, to be exact. This year's theme was "Jesus Take The Wheel", so everything revolved around vehicles and road travel. Fun time!
Easter is always a fun time at the chapel! This year we were at the chapel due to weather concerns at the house, so the decor was...

Well, you've got to have a little fun, and our "Rabbi" certainly knows how to do it. He's a fan of the Waffle House like we are, and got his very own Waffle House hat when we were in Biloxi, MS.
Bible study is never the same again after your leader, "The Rabbi" dons his official Waffle House hat from Biloxi. We got him one on our...

We absolutely love the concept of white on white. It seems especially appropriate for a wedding day, but virtually anytime is the right time for ivory tones. Darker, lighter, multiple shapes! Neat!
Especially beautiful in a silk format hydrangea, a bride can really save a fortune on her flowers with creamy white. The photo above is...

Our wonderful bride was not only in a tremendous video spot with her partner in crime (it was criminal that she wasn't married here! hrumph.), but now her sepia self is on display in the brides room!
From the second we saw our Sarah in this still shot from her "Time at the Table" performance at the train depot, we knew this had to be...

Like staying at the Mayfair Hotel in London, EVERYone at the chapel is paying attention to every detail to make each wedding a success! Even THIS charming appliance is keeping up with everything! :)
Lisa put googly eyes on the coffee pot in the chapel kitchen and the stand mixer. They're always watching to be sure that no detail goes...
