Congratulations to the lovely K&S on selecting the Chapel at Caliber Oak for their biggest of days! They came Sunday, and the gate was open so they rolled on up and took the tour. Our newest bride cried about 5 times during the tour, so I think she liked it quite a bit! Both are very local, and we're thrilled that they're having their wedding here. Wednesday night we sealed the deal, and our Apprentice from the Belton CofC/UMHB program, Sara, was even in attendance to experience the thrill! We're looking forward to making all the preparations and plans for a very special wedding for these two. Congratulations, again!
Less busy at the chapel today than it's been. We were blessed to attend the Rotary Club of Harker Heights speakers forum luncheon yesterday with our own Dr. Cashion and two other excellent leaders. Lots of fun and got to see so many folks we haven't seen in such a long time. It's nice to get out once in a while! Had planned to hit the Business After Hours mixer with the Chamber, but we ended up having a great time with Dick & Cindy here in town for a good dinner and quality time. Dick did such a great job speaking as well as the entire panel. Today is pretty much puttering around and enjoying the day.
One of the gifts he gives all of us is that innate 'sixth sense' about things. Don't ignore it, it's one of the most important gifts of all. Listen to that little voice...often it's the Big Guy directing your steps and warning you of situations. Blessings to all for an intuitive kind of day!
