MAGIC is coming to the chapel in 2017!
Well, Cinderella may look just a little stressed out here....probably concern over too much glitter on her gown....but our brides never need be stressed! We take care of them from start to finish! Cinder is here to remind us that 2017 has some very special and creative magic in store for brides, grooms and many who visit the chapel this year. A certain creative project is on the drawing boards that we're really looking forward to! Stay tuned as more glitterati-magicalli s

One of my personal favorite wedding photos!
Love this shot of Marie & Chris at Amberlyn & Chris' wedding. Such a special day, and such a great connection of two excellent people! Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they'll be at Wedding Homecoming Dinner this year.... BUT, one day, they'll make it, because they'll be living just down the road! Just a feeling, but, you can dream, right?!?!?!? All is wonderful at the special chapel today, and we were thrilled to help K&L pick out all the wonderful dishes, linens, and

Merry Christmas to all our special brides and grooms!
This is an excellent example of the wonderful couples that are married at our blessed chapel. It's an age-old story....nurse and soldier fall in love....but it's a special story since it happened here! Merry Christmas to Jess & Chris and all our beloved couples who help make our life complete! Survived Christmas eve, and it was wonderful! We had black-tie champagne and snacks here at the house while Denise, Sarah and I opened gifts. Then Sarah and I headed into town in Mis

Is this a 'first look' or a Deputy making a 'forced entry'!?!?? :)
Here's another one of those great wedding shots that I JUST got to see today! Don't know where I was, but this one slipped by me. April and Jimmy are an absolute delight, and this photo really says it all for me.... He's got a kind of 'don't make me come in there' look going on, and she's praying for patience! Hehehehe. We think the absolute world of the both, and are so looking forward to their next visit to the chapel. Blessings to you two, for a wonderful Christmas an

A little flashback activity for Erin & David!
It's absolutely amazing how times flies! What a fun memory of a fun day, and this dress is absolutely amazing... Hard to imagine that they're living up in Frisco, Texas, now...and already have a wee one of their own! Such a great couple, and we're so thrilled that they chose our chapel for their special-est of days! Blessings to you 3 today and always! Chillier outside than I thought. Need to head to town eventually if we're to have any kind of supper. Getting things d

What an excellent photo! I just saw it for the first time!
I really don't know how I managed to miss this excellent photo on facebook from the Risenhoover wedding, but am so glad I saw it this morning. Such a fun shot, and such a neat couple. We are so hoping that they'll be able to join us for Wedding Homecoming Dinner this year! Blessings to them both! The weather has warmed back up, and we're puttering about the chapel today. Looking forward to hearing from T&C on booking their wedding, and really enjoyed the visit yesterday w

Love this Picture! What a special wedding!
Well, some folks know that the old Cap had to 'gather' himself a couple of times during this very special wedding, and this may have been one of those times. Regardless...it's a great shot, and shows the reverence and serious attachment these two have for each other. Thanks, again, Jessica & Tyler, and beautiful work by France Photographers! COLD outside today, but it's that time of year! Excited about the Salado Christmas Stroll tonight, and hope lots of shoppers and merr

Ok, today must REALLY be their final appearance this year?
Well, allegedly, we're going down to 30 degrees tonight, so we'll saying goodbye to the Belinda's Dream blossoms for another year. Although......I'll believe it when I see it... These ladies are TOUGH, and sometimes surprise us with their hardiness and willingness to bloom. We've enjoyed them again this year, and are thankful for their ever-blooming beauty. Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat. Well, we assume the goose is getting fat...haven't seen any lately, e

The vintage collection just gets better and better!
It's such a treat for Miss Denise and I to scour every nook and cranny we can find to collect the neatest vintage china collection pieces for our very special brides for their very special day. Not every bride selects the vintage collection, but every bride has the perfect table/service setting! This new addition to the collection comes to us from England, via Palestine, Texas, and then Canton, Texas! It's W.H. Grindley (one of our absolute favorite manufacturers from abo

Salado Christmas Parade Fabulous-nesss!
Miss Alice Fleetwood rocked Main and Royal Streets for the annual Salado Christmas parade! Corbin was able to join us and Miss Denise cheered on the crowd as well. Nice folks, great photo ops and fun crowds abounded. We even worked in a visit to Barrow Brewing Company as part of our official parade activities! Brooke Culley took this great photo as we rolled along, and it was so fun to be part of the tradition for one more year! Crazy busy weekend @ the chapel. First, th
